Svalka-

Svalka is my degree project exploring low-tech solutions for a warming world. Inspired by historical methods of cooling indoor air without electricity or refrigerants, I designed two 3D-printed terracotta towers that use evaporative cooling – a natural process where water evaporation lowers the surrounding air temperature.

The project blends traditional cooling principles with contemporary digital fabrication, resulting in a functional and sustainable alternative to energy-intensive air conditioning.
